My smiths trip and walmart trip

This is my smiths trip today. I spent $26.66. the ziplocs are only $1.19 when you buy ten participating items.
Then for buying 30 items on the sale list I got three- $3.oo off my next purchases so its like I paid $17.66 for all this, which comes out .58 cents a item. yay!!

This is my walmart trip I spent $3.25. The gain fabric sheets are $3.12 at walmart and In the red plum last sunday(or tuesday) was a $3.oo off coupon. also the purex is on sale for $1.99 at walgreens and yest in the redplum was a $1.oo off coupon. So I will be stocking up alot on this stuff!!

Awesome Smiths deal this week.

Smith's is starting a new sale & promotion tomorrow 2/16 and it's going to be HOT! The sale is, "Buy 10 participating items, save $3 instantly" but then you also get a $3 catalina, that's valid on your next shopping order! Remember, the real benefit is to "roll" your catalinas. I've detailed out 3 transactions below to show you how you can do that. {When I say catalina, I'm not talking about the salad dressing or the island. Read more about catalinas here.}

Please note that I don't think two $3 catalinas will print even if you buy 20 items in 1 transaction. So group your transactions into sets of 10, so you'll get the $3 catalina each time. I list the price below after the instant $3 savings, as well as the price after the $3 catalina.

Your first transaction should be for very inexpensive items, since you won't have a catalina to help lower your OOP {out-of-pocket} total. After that, then buy your more expensive items since you'll have the $3 catalina to help pay for them.

This is freebies 2 deals blog and what she got at smiths.
I wanted to show you guys what I did today at Smith's with only 4 printable coupons.  No coupon inserts used at all.

The cashier let me know that the $3.00 Catalina that is printing out for the Daytona 500 Mega Event will not print out, if you use the same catalina from a previous purchase.  I'm not sure if that is entirely true.  However, if you don't want to take the chance, don't split your transactions and try to roll your Catalinas from one purchase to the next. Just make one big purchase and get a huge stack of $3.00 Catalinas afterwards.  Then, you can use them on your next purchase on items that aren't part of the promotion.  It all ends up to work the same.

My store was really stocked so I was able to purchase big quantites of different items to add to my stockpile.  Here is what I purchased:

15 Boxes of Hefty One Zip Bags- all different sizes (ended up being only $.89 each after Catalina!)
10 Bottles of Kraft BBQ Sauce- All different flavors (ended up being only $.39 each  after Catalina!)
6 Cans of Chunky Soup  (ended up being $.36 each after Catalina)
5 2 Liters of Bargs, Sprite and Country Time Lemonade (ended up being $.66 each after Catalina!)
1 5 Pack of Macaroni and Cheese (ended up being only $1.89 for all 5 boxes after Catalina)
2 Totinos Pizzas (ended up being only $.28 each after Catalina!)
Used the $1.00 off Macaroni Coupon
Used 2 of the $1.00 off 3 Chunky Coupons
Use the $.75 off 2 Totinos Coupon

Total receipt ended up being $39.72 (including Tax)
But then I got 4 $3.00 Catalinas I can use next week at Smiths'!
Total cost for 39 items? $.74 each!

And that was done with just knowing what to purchase and a few printable coupons.  Anyone and everyone who has a Smith's store can go and do what I just did too!
